New Designers
Part 1

Tori's Final Major Project will be exhibited at New Designers Part 1 with other Winchester School of Art textile graduates.

London' annual New Designers exhibition gives the public a chance to interact with the designers of tomorrow, bring together graduates from the UK's leading universities to showcase their designs and make industry contacts.  Innovatibe and inspirational, the two part exhibition is an impressive display for playfulness and creativity.  Part 1 features works by graduates from the Contemporary Applied Arts, Textiles, Fashion & Accessories, and Jewelry & Precious Metalwork degrees.

Tori exhibited her final year major project along with a select number of fellow Winchester School of Art textile graduates.  Her playful Circus Collection was based around the idea that the things we loved when to play with or at in our childhood should inform the things we love to do as adults and the importance that adult play has for our mental health.  It is important that we take time for ourselves doing the things we love.  For inspiration Tori looked back at the games and toys of her own childhood and was especially drawn to A. Schoenhut's Humpty Dumpty Circus toys.

Tori exhibited a range of hand-printed textiles, which she specialises in, jacquard weaves, she she designed and had woven, and bespoke wallpapers.
