Tori was lucky enough to secure an internship with Dame Zandra Rhodes at her Bermondsey Street design studio.  Zandra is one of the few fashion textile designers to still keep all her process in-house, including designing, printing, pattern cutting, making-up into a garment and embellishing the end result.  

This was a fantastic opportunity for Tori to see how a garment is designed from beginning to end.  Her role included editing designs, getting files ready for print production, laising with production, documenting and photographing new collections and helping the head of print production with large screenprints.  The internship offered a wonderful opportunity to see and understand the inner workings of a fashion house and to be guided by this doyen of the fashion industry, who has designed for numerous celebrities and members of the Royal family.
